Alice M. Chiang, Founder, Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer
Dr. Chiang started Teratech Corporation in 1994 and is responsible for product technology development and strategy at Terason. Dr. Chiang has gained recognition in various emerging technology fields, specifically advanced electronic systems and image processing technology.  

In the 22 years prior to starting Terason, Dr. Chiang has held research and development leadership positions in commercial and defense industry settings. Among the emerging technology products developed under her guidance are a room-temperature IR camera, a UV Star Tracker, a Collision Avoidance Radar and a NeuralNetwork-based Image Recognition System.

Dr. Chiang has over 40 patents and holds a Ph.D. in physics from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute, and B.S. in physics from the National Taiwan University.

John L. Bridge, CEO and President
John is responsible for overall management of all of Terason’s businesses. John leads the senior team and works to create a culture high performance and dependability for all of Terason's customers.  

Prior to joining Terason, John was a managing director and partner of Boston Post Partners (BPP), a small private equity firm located in Boston, MA. John was Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at Aetna Inc., one of the nation’s largest managed care companies. During his 21 years at Aetna, John held a variety of senior finance and investment roles, and played a lead role in negotiating and executing nearly $50 billion worth of acquisitions, divestitures and financing.

John has an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Managment and a BA in mathematics and economics from Trinity College (CT).

Steven R. Broadstone, D.Sc., Vice President of Research & Development
Dr. Broadstone is responsible for the system integration of low-power, portable system products; including the Terason™ Ultrasound System, and Teratech's portable sonar systems.

Dr. Broadstone received his B.A. in Physics and Mathematics from Hastings College, Hastings, NE, and Doctor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Washington University, St. Louis, MO. He holds 10 patents and has published on ultrasound and sonar imaging.

Jeffrey Sirek, Vice President, Head of U.S. Business
Mr. Sirek is responsible for leading Terason's U.S. business. He comes to Terason with a long history of success with over 20 years of Sales and Sales Management experience, predominantly in the medical segment. Additionally, he has a wide array of experience from start-up companies to major corporations such as GE Medical Systems, Pfizer Inc, and Philips (Adac Laboratories). Before joining Terason, Mr. Sirek held the position of Northeast Regional Sales Manager for GE's Cardiovascular Ultrasound Division, where he was responsible for the P & L of a $32 million region.
In this role, Mr. Sirek assisted in the launch of the GE's first cardiovascular portable ultrasound system, while managing the field efforts of the sales and clinical team. Mr. Sirek holds a degree in Finance from the University of St Thomas, St Paul, MN.

Michael Schindler, Director of Distribution and National Accounts
Mr. Schindler is responsible for Terason's Distribution and National Accounts Business.  He has more than 20 years of experience as a high level Sales Executive, predominantly in the healthcare segment.  He began his career at Xerox and has been an integral component to start-ups as well as larger companies such as GE Healthcare, in their Cardiac and General Imaging Ultrasound Division.  Several times he has successfully completed the largest transactions in his company's history.  Mr. Schindler is also skilled in managing large, complex transactions and has assisted many customers and distribution partners in building unique and mutually beneficial business agreements.  Mr. Schindler holds a Degree in Business Administration from Benedictine College in Atchison, KS.

Nicholas Collins, Controller
Mr. Collins is responsible for all finance, accounting, cash management and human resources aspects of Teratech.  He has over 15 years of financial and operational experience with publicly traded companies and technology start-ups. Before joining Terason, Mr. Collins was the Controller of Cogentric, a privately-held software company where he managed finance, accounting and investor relations. Previously, Mr. Collins was Director of Finance for LocatePlus, a publicly-traded technology company where he was responsible for all finance and accounting matters. Prior to that he spent ten years with KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers, providing audit services for technology companies.

Mr. Collins holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an MBA from Northeastern University. He is a CPA and member of the AICPA.

William M. Wong, Director of Hardware Engineering
Mr. Wong leads Terason’s hardware engineering group, and is responsible for defining new system architectures. He has over 10 years of experience in medical ultrasound. His expertise is in digital beamforming architecture, digital signal processing and ASIC design.

Prior to joining Terason, he was Chief Engineer of Ultrasound at Analogic Corp., Director of Engineering at Furuno Diagnostics America, and Director of Design Engineering at Cypress Semiconductor. Mr. Wong has three patents and holds MS and BS degrees in EECS from M.I.T.

Noah Berger, Director of Software Engineering
Mr. Berger is responsible for the architecture, design and implementation of software for the Terason Ultrasound System and manages the software development team. He has over 15 years of experience in the medical device industry. Prior to joining Terason, he was a Principal Software Engineer at Hologic, Inc., where he managed software development for bone densitometry products. Mr. Berger has several patents and holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island and a BA in Neural Science from Brown University.

Benjamin L. Chiampa, Director of Quality Assurance
Mr. Chiampa has developed and implemented Terason’s quality systems to comply with US and European quality regulations, e.g., FDA Quality System Regulation (QSRs) 21 CFR 820, International Standards ISO 13845, and European Community Medical Device Directive (MDD) 93/42/EEC. He is also instrumental in the product’s safety mark authorization “ETL listed” in both the United States and Canada.

His experience includes 20 years of Quality Control / Quality Assurance Management in the medical electronics industry, with active participation in concurrent engineering and new product development, from product introduction to manufacturing.

Prior to joining Terason, Mr. Chiampa was the Quality Manager for Analogic Corporation - Life Care Division. Mr. Chiampa holds a BS in Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute and a MBA in Business Management from Rivier College.

John R. Jaworski
Director of Software Quality and Technical Services

Mr. Jaworski is responsible for Software Quality Management, Technical Support, and Documentation at Terason. He has over 10 years of quality assurance and management experience in the software field.   Prior to joining Terason, he successfully implemented and managed Software Quality Assurance in companies serving the financial, transportation, and medical fields.  

Mr. Jaworski holds an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University and a BS in Business Management from the University of Maine.
