"I am a full-time interventional radiologist
in a busy academic practice. Since I am dually boarded
in both Surgery and Radiology, I was asked several
years ago to begin the minimally invasive varicose
vein program at our facility. I contacted three different
portable ultrasound manufacturers and had their sales
representatives come to our facility to demonstrate
their products. After careful examination of the
devices as well as discussion with colleagues at
several other centers, my decision to choose the
Terason device was quite simple.
The Terason product provides exquisite images, which
in my opinion are notably better than the other two
vendors’ products. I even had a more senior
sales representatives from one of the other companies
come back a second time to try to impress me with
their images; her efforts were not successful.
In addition to the excellent images, the extensive
functionality is very helpful, particularly the duplex
and color flow capability, which I use to demonstrate
reflux to varicose vein patients.
The device is lightweight yet quite durable. My ultrasound
is about 4 years old and continues to function flawlessly.
I sometimes wish it would fail (not in the middle
of a case, however) because the newer models also
have Macintosh functionality which I would like.
The fact that it is a fully functional laptop is
another huge advantage. When I am not transporting
it to the three different locations where I see varicose
vein patients, I keep it up and running on my desk
where it serves as a second computer to allow me
to view images while I dictate procedures from other
Interventional Radiology procedures that I have done.
I could not be more pleased with the Terason device.
I offer my strongest recommendation wholeheartedly
and without compensation."

"Terason's unique laptop based ultrasound machine
maximizes the sonographer's efficiency since the
hardware gives the user access to all of the functionality
of a computer in addition to the ultrasonography
application. In addition, the t3000 has outstanding
image resolution and intuitive controls that help
to shorten the learning curve for new users and that
allow the experienced sonographer a powerful "all-in-one" solution
for portable ultrasonography."

"I have been using the Terason Ultrasound system
one day a week in a vein clinic for the past four
years and have been quite impressed with the image
quality and dependability of the system. This system
has provided us quality imaging and reliability at
a price a small practice with limited volume could
afford."
Randy Troyer, RVT

"I have used a number of different ultrasound machines in clinical
practice and for research applications. After looking at several
portable machines we chose to purchase two Terason t3000 units. The
t3000 provided the most flexibility for our varied ultrasound
applications and ease of use. The image quality is great and has proved
to be just what we had hoped. The Terason platform also gives us
the ability to download images and reports directly into the electronic
medical record. This has proved to be extremely useful and has reduced
documentation time."

"I have been using my Terason echo machine
for several years and have been very pleased in
several ways. First, the image quality is quite
comparable in a side-by-side comparison with that
of full size equipment. Second, Terason's compact
design is practical, not only for working off site,
but also for its ability to save space in a crowded
lab. Third, the service provided by Terason has been
complementary with my particular needs. We perform
three dimensional echo for research, and Terason's
technical support team is responsive and knowledgeable."
Florence Sheehan, MD
Research Professor of Medicine/Cardiology

"We have enjoyed using the t3000 for regional anesthesia
the last two weeks at Duke. I have been happy with
the image quality, and I am especially enjoying the
laptop integration. I am able to perform blocks,
enter my computer PACU orders, record my
screen, edit and produce videos, and upload them
to Youtube all from the same system. That is priceless."

“I have been using my Terason machine for
several years now, and have been exceptionally happy
with it. I worked for many years in a hospital
setting with very expensive ultrasound sequipment,
and have fund my Terason machine to be as good as
these machines, if not better. The image quality
on the Terason is certainly comparable to the more
expensive models. The portability and affordability
of this great machine has allowed me start my own
very successful mobile ultrasound business. The
physicians I work with are always delighted with
the quality of ultrasound imaging I provide for them. My
Terason machine is very versatile which enables me
to offer a variety of different types of scanning. The
fact that I can offer every type of ultrasound, including
ob/gyn, general, small parts and vascular has proved
invaluable to me. Because the machine is so
compact it is ideal for taking into operating rooms
for surgeries that require ultrasound guidance, and
for assisting in biopsies. It's portability
and durability has also allowed me to take it on
many medical missions in South America. I have
never had a single problem with it, not even in the
jungle. The other thing about Terason that
must be mentioned is the service that comes with
the purchase of a machine. The technical support
team is outstanding. They are always there
when you need them. They are very knowledgeable
and solve problems quickly and effortlessly. Pat
in applications is as good a sonographer as you will
ever see, and she knows the machine inside and out. Her
pride and enthusiasm about her product is contagious,
and you can't help but get excited with her. There
doesn't appear to be one questions she doesn't know
the answer to. She too is always there when
you need her. In conclusion, my experience
with Terason has been, without exception, a positive
and gratifying experience.”

“My Terason unit has proven to be a very pleasant
surprise. Its display size, measurement capabilities
and user-friendly controls have made vascular ultrasound
an easy addition to my diagnostic capabilities as
a vascular surgeon. Its portability and heavy-duty
stand have made it easy to bring the unit to the
operating room for use with endovenous procedures,
and the support staff has responded very quickly
to rectify problems without any break in the flow
of my practice.”
David N. Brotman, MD

“Terason offers superior resolution without
any distortion of the access needle independent of
the vessel depth. The color sensitivity is
superb in viewing vessels of different sizes and
flow rates from small vessels to deep vessels.”
Deborah Manjoney, MD, FACEP

“My vein practice is divided between the USA
and Lebanon. A lightweight, easily-transportable
system that functions as a duplex ultrasound and
a powerful notebook are a must for me. The color
Doppler in the Terason system is very sensitive to
the slow flow seen in the venous system. Additionally,
the B-mode image for intraoperative use and ultrasound-guided
percutaneous access to the saphenous vein is excellent.
Technical support and customer service at Terason
are impeccable, even when I am outside the USA.”
Asad R. Shamma, MD

“The Terason ultrasound has changed the way I practice medicine. Having
the ability to take the Terason with me to use in surgery has given me an ability
to “see” the results of the surgical
procedure immediately post-op.”
Joseph Marogil, MD
Grand Rapids Vein Center Grand Rapids MI

“I thoroughly researched the portable ultrasound
systems for my practice, and found the Terason far
superior in image quality, Doppler, and ease of use.”
Mario Kapusta, MD

“The Terason Ultrasound System is compact, portable and provides excellent
image clarity. The unique laptop design provides familiarity with image
capture and archiving, and simplifies picture and video presentation. Additionally,
I have been very impressed with customer support. From
my initial after-hours phone call when inquiring
about purchasing, to the ongoing relationship with
the Terason team, I am confident to say that I have
made the right choice.”

“I am board certified vascular surgeon who is in private practice in
Northeast Texas. I purchased a Terason t 3000 two years ago for my vascular
lab. After using the larger machines for years we decided to purchase a t 3000
in 2006. We have not been disappointed. The quality of images is amazing. We
have done over 3,000 vascular studies using your machine. These studies involve
the full gamut of vascular imaging (carotids, venous, graft flow studies, Aorta,
etc). The imaging and ease of use has made our other machines obsolete.
In fact today the t3000 is the only duplex machine we use in my office. In
addition, I can not say enough about your customer support. Terason’s
customer service is second to none. The knowledge, professionalism and over
all demeanor of your representatives is impressive. I am a private practice
surgeon with one unit and yet Terason has treated us as if we are a huge university
vascular lab that has purchased millions of dollars worth of product.”
Jeffrey DeCaprio, MD, RVT, FACS
Precision Surgery Associates Texarkana TX

"The machine is working quite nicely. I
have finished my semi-automated report generation
program that imports the .xml file from the machine,
runs a rule-based system over the numbers to fill
in preliminary text, then uses a branching text system
to fill in the details. The result looks very
close to what I dictate, which has subtlety not allowed
by commercial report generating systems, yet is concise
and automatically generated. The user is then
allowed to modify any of the final text to suit,
which none of the commercial systems allow."
Laurence Widman, MD, FACC

“Terason has been a tremendous company to
work with. We have had the Terason for going on three
years in our busy Emergency Department. Our residents
and staff are very comfortable using the Terason
and find the images very clear and the ability to
handle the imaging data provides a very powerful
research tool. I would recommend the Terason to any
Emergency Department.”
Adam Miller, MD
Univ of TX Southwestern Medical School Dallas TX

“Adding the Terason ultrasound to my practice
has provided a diagnostic capability that I previously
had to refer to the Radiology Department. The image
quality, portability, and frequent software upgrades
have allowed me to provide a level of diagnostic
accuracy, and patient convenience that has enhanced
my practice.”
Ron Ferris, MD
Holy Family Medical Associates Wichita KS

“I use it every day—primarily for screening for aortic aneurysms.
So far I have found five actual AAA's that would have been missed had I not
screened them. It is really exciting, and I am planning on expanding my use
of the machine to other kinds of abdominal ultrasound and some limited echocardiography.
The diagnostic power of this technique is awesome. Also, fun.The machine is
great. Everyone who sees it (echo and ultrasound techs, and the occasional
radiologist) is impressed with the quality of the images and the ease of use.
The fact that it is based in a PC makes it a snap to save images and burn them
onto CDs. No one else can do that easily. So I am really happy that I picked
your company. The service (your service, mostly) has been great. When I have
had to contact tech support at the company, it has also been excellent. All
in all, I am absolutely delighted by your machine, your company, and the extra
medical power that I am getting from my new "stethoscope".
Thanks again.”

“The Terason portable ultrasound has been
very effective in our institution, and came out on
top in our evaluation of small portable systems for
use in our Emergency Department and for our interventional
procedures. The image quality was the key to our
choosing the Terason.”
Ramiro Ayala, Director of Radiology
McKenna Memorial Hospital New Braunfels TX

"The Terason unit has been an excellent addition
to our interventional practice. We use it daily for
access, biopsies and abscess drainages. The image
quality is terrific and its small size, user-friendly
software, and portability make it an ideal tool for
our technologists and interventional radiologists."
Chris Kuhn, MD Chief of Radiology
Mercy Hospital Portland ME

"We've been very pleased with our Terason t3000
Ultrasound Systems. They combine portability
with function, and we have used them for a range
of applications that I though would require a much
larger and more expensive unit. The other pleasant
surprise was the responsiveness of the controls -
the analog capability is now realtime, no discernable
lag. Overall,
a very strong product at a very reasonable price."
