Mr. Wong leads Terason’s engineering group and is responsible for defining new system architectures. He has over 20 years of experience in medical ultrasound. His expertise is in digital beamforming architecture, digital signal processing and ASIC design.
After graduating from M.I.T., Mr. Wong worked in the field of automatic testing and then digital signal processing. Mr. Wong was Chief Engineer of Ultrasound at Analogic Corp., where he designed their first digital beamformer and redesigned the color flow engine for an OEM customer. He led a team to design one of the USB Controller ASIC as the Director of Design Engineering at Cypress Semiconductor. Mr. Wong was the system architect of the t3000 series at Terason. He has been managing the hardware engineering group at Terason for almost ten years prior to the VP position. Mr. Wong has six patents and holds MS and BS degrees in EECS from M.I.T.
